By completing all lessons and passing the quiz with 100% or higher, the earner of this credential will demonstrate an understanding of the signs of drowning, including silent and subtle indicators; when to check and act; how to use safe rescue principles; when not to enter the water during a rescue attempt; how to assess a casualty using the DRABCDE framework; how to begin CPR and use an AED; and how to place a casualty in the recovery position and monitor them until help arrives.
